The troop camp is situated north of the Nedal River. Many think you will find it's members in the opening at the base of the mountains, but they hide in the lush forest where they have created an intricate network in the trees. 

The Nedal River runs centrally through the known territory of Truppa Forestale, with the river crossing at the most western point. This crossing is dangerous, as Puffkins must climb hills to the bank, where they cross the rushing current to the other side. It is cold, risky and ultimately fatal. 

The mountains of copper, known as the Copper Mountains can be seen from the troop camp. Named for their golden appearance , no Puffkin has travelled there before. Trees are seen dead on the other side of the river, which makes others believe it is a place where all things go to die. Some have made the journey, but have never come back.

The Ruins of Jillian used to be the old base camp of the troop. Jillian, Dante's fater, was the chief until he died venturing off to the Cooper Mountains. Dante, being the rightful heir, did not want to become chief. He wanted to erase all memory of his childhood, and thus crossed the river and made a new home in the thick, lush forest.
